Exams, last days in Madrid & going home

14 mei 2019 - Meppel, Nederland

Writing this one from back home, as the semester in Madrid has finished! Since the last blog I wrote, I have been busy studying for the final exams of the minor. All of them I passed with really good grades, so I am very happy! Time has gone by super fast!

The last few days in Madrid were all really sunny, so I enjoyed them as much as possible. I have had a great goodbye lunch with my Spanish class mates on the Friday, straight after our last exam. A combination of celebrating that the semester was over and of saying goodbye, as I would be leaving the next day on Saturday. In the evening on Friday, I went to the Mutua Madrid Open tennis tournament with my ex-room mate Javi! I had not seen her since end of February, so it was great to see her again, whilst enjoying some great level of tennis!

And the next morning, it was Saturday May 11, time to pack the last few things and get ready to go back home again! I have enjoyed Madrid a lot the last few months; it is a great, big and beautiful city and I'm sure I will be back any time soon! But on the other hand, it is always great to be back home and it's funny how incredibly fast you get used to being back again.

My third study year of International Facility Management is hereby finished, which means that next September I will start with my fourth and last study year including graduation!!!!!!

Another nice story. I really enjoyed reading them. But I’m glad you are home again 😉.
